New.Track.Mixes.

Updated the five track mixes (side bar) with four tracks:

The Academy Is... - Checkmarks (4.2MB), from their recent release, Almost Here. Underrated pretty pop punk at its best. Via Purevolume.

Gyroscope - Doctor Doctor (1.9MB), from 2004's Sound Shattering Sound. Perth band who refused an award for Best Punk Act at 2005's WAMI (Western Australia Music Industry) Awards because they "are not punk". And if you ever call them, "emo", they'll pelt ya! Anyway, been re-listening the album and its my favourite track from them. Neither punk nor emo? You be the judge.

Kasabian - Club Foot (4.1MB), from their new self-titled album. So, its mediocre but damn straight, its definitely catchy. I vagued and thought it was a Chemical Brothers / Oasis mashup. Via InSound.

Pinback - Microtonic Wave (3.4MB), the first track off their 2003 EP, Offcell. One of my favourite bands and my favourite song from them. The hook is infectious. Via Southern Records.

Man, that was a long time ago. If only you had your "money" issues problems you could have come!

The song is catchy. Its both punk and emo. The band is weird for thinking they are "rock". Bleh.
