Low - The Great Destroyer
"Slow-core"? This Minnesota band nailed it. With tracks like the dream-esque Silver Rider and the song that will get them O.C.'ed California, they'll be playing the bait shop before you know it. Brilliant stuff.

Kings of Leon - Aha Shake Heartbreak
The album was actually released last year in Australia (but only got an American release this year, despite being from Tennessee). They've definitely got my attention with their second album, the follow-up to Youth & Young Manhood, with their catchy guitar riffs and country-styled drawl. The Bucket was one of the catchiest singles of last year. The album is nothing short of that.

Cursive - The Ugly Organ
Released in 2003, The Ugly Organ is a beautiful album from Omaha indie rock outfit, Cursive, with tracks like Art Is Hard (catchy and true), the fast-paced Sierra and my favourite, the gorgeous ballad The Recluse. Besides, I'm a sucker for cellos.

Oh, and Ben Lee's new album, Awake Is The New Sleep, which I would have added if Triple J didn't get to him first!
Also, added one new track mix, its the full-band new version of It's Time To Dance by Panic! At The Disco, which is also featured in the new Fueled by Ramen Spring Sampler. Looks like my predictions were right and Fueled by Ramen Records will be taking the kids under their wing.
