I've decided that this is definitely in my top albums list of 2005. Even a huge possibility of #1. If you like your Sufjan Stevens / Elliott Smith / Devendra Banhart but with a bit more jazz-influence, I reckon you will love this, too.

Sure, they were on the Emo Diaries compilation series but you cannot doubt how brilliant this record is and how amazing, but yet underrated, Kansas (just like my favourites, The Get Up Kids and The Anniversary, who all come from the same town of Lawrence)' The Appleseed Cast are. This is their most recent record and I think one of their best releases.
